Theater Marquee in Hong Kong for SON OF KONG (1933)

This week in 1933 KING KONG debuted on theater screens.  The original classic, unrivaled in scope even today, was a masterpiece of stop motion animation in the early days of sound movies.  The Max Steiner score was one of the first full scores for a film and it instantly generated a sequel in the SAME year with SON OF KONG.
