A Short Mike History

After a number of years of practicing watercolor and Japanese calligraphy, starting in 1980, I was able to do paintings like this:

Then, in 2015, at age 64, I retired from my University Professorship after 38 years.  I thought I would now have the time to focus on art and music.  After a little direction searching, the field of graphic novels opened up to me.

I did the following for a previous class with Andy--lots of fun!

I'm currently working exceedingly slowly on my own graphic novel, Cry of the Snow Leopard.  A sorta film-noir post-war 1940s, kind of thing.  With magic, of course.
